Program Overview:
The Department of Professional Studies has designed this program for educators seeking leadership positions at classroom, school district, and community levels, in curriculum, instruction, and supervision. Edinboro University now offers a series progression from M.Ed. to K-12 Principal Certification to Superintendent's Letter of Eligibility.
The online M.Ed. in Educational Leadership program has been developed to reflect the general standards and specific program guidelines prescribed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Further, the M.Ed. in Educational Leadership program provides the opportunity for prospective educational leaders to demonstrate thier knowledge, dispositions, and performances of the six standards for school leaders prescribed by the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium.

Admission Requirements: Fall, Spring or Summer start dates.
- Application fee: $30.00 for new students, and $7.00 for returning Edinboro students.
- Transcript: Submit an official transcript reflecting baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution sent to:

Edinboro, PA 16444 - A writing sample: Please address the following question, limiting your response to a maximum of 500 words: Why have you chosen to be an educational leader? Please include the following statement at the end of your writing sample: "I, print your name, certify the writing sample I have submitted is my own work, reflecting my own thoughts; that no part is plagiarized, and I did not receive assistance in completing the writing sample." Follow with your signature and date.
