"According to the National Middle School Association, many teachers, at least initially, enter middle level classrooms without being sufficiently prepared to be successful in the challenging and rewarding responsibility of understanding and teaching young adolescents. Here at Edinboro University, we are dedicated to the specialized instruction of middle level teachers and will provide the essential knowledge, skills and dispositions required to teach young adolescents effectively."Dr. Kathleen Benson
