Option #1: Seeking Certification

Must possess teacher certification in Elementary (K-6, P-4), Middle (4-8) or Secondary (7-12) education. At this time we are not accepting candidates with K-12 (Art, Music, or Physical Education) certification.

Option #2 Currently Certified in Special Education

Must possess certification in Special Education. Will choose from three areas of specialization (Autism, Behavior Management, High Incidence)

The Master of Education degree program in Special Education is designed to develop and improve knowledge of and performance in core professional competencies related to the field of special education. All of our certification programs prepare special education teachers according to the criteria established and revised by the Pennsylvania Department of Special Education.
